ERP implementation
ERP implementation with clear scope, reconciled data and trained teams
ERP implementation needs clear decisions about scope, data and people. Our method brings these together through a scoped first phase, reconciled data migration and hands-on training, with responsibilities and acceptance checks agreed before go-live.

Our method
Four phases from discovery to hypercare
Discovery
Workshops map your processes, users, entities, reports and integrations. Choose the business outcomes for phase one and identify what falls outside it. Record assumptions, dependencies and the decisions required from your team. The proposal should set out the agreed scope and price, together with a process for assessing later changes.
Configuration
Configuration covers the agreed VisionONE processes, compliance connections, reports and approval workflows. Assign business owners to review the setup using representative transactions. Record requirements that need an external integration or further development, and confirm responsibility for them. Keep the acceptance criteria tied to the agreed scope so changes can be assessed before cutover.
Migration & testing
Trial data loads are reconciled against the source system before business users accept the results. Agree opening balances, record counts and exception reports, then follow representative transactions through the configured workflow. The data migration checklist helps plan ownership, corrections and sign-off. Record unresolved differences and repeat affected checks after correction.
Go-live & hypercare
Training prepares key users for the tasks they will perform after launch. Ask users to complete their normal work and handle an exception during the rehearsal, then record any additional training needed. Rehearse the cutover sequence, agree the final data cut-off and identify the people authorised to approve the move. The signed-off plan should include recovery arrangements, business checks and support responsibilities for the first weeks of operation. Confirm readiness before committing to the live switch.
Our commitments
What you can hold us to
Agree scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria in the proposal so both sides can assess completion using evidence. For each requirement, identify the business owner and the transaction or report that will demonstrate it. Use the ERP selection checklist to prepare questions about fit, dependencies, support and the work your organisation must contribute.
- A written scope with inclusions and exclusions before work starts.
- A named project manager and one accountable team.
- Data reconciled with you before cutover: trial balance, stock and open items.
- Compliance submissions tested with the authority before go-live.
- Training for every user group, plus admin training for your super-users.
- Local support in your time zone after go-live.

FAQ
Implementation FAQ
How long does a VisionONE implementation take?
The timetable depends on scope, source-data quality, integrations and the availability of your decision-makers and key users. Agree phase one before work starts and request a dated plan showing dependencies and sign-off points. Confirm the effect of unresolved requirements or late source data before treating a target date as a commitment.
What do we need to provide?
Assign a project owner with decision authority and a key user for each participating department. Allow time to review requirements, clean source data, test representative transactions and attend training. Agree who resolves data differences and who can accept each business process. Keep decisions and outstanding issues visible to both project teams.
What support is included after go-live?
Agree the initial hypercare period and ongoing support arrangements in the written proposal. Confirm the responsible support team, coverage hours, contact route, escalation process and treatment of work outside the agreed scope. During handover, give users clear instructions for reporting an issue and identify who will check its business impact.
See VisionONE run your own workflow
Bring an anonymised example of the first process you want to implement, such as order to invoice, purchase to pay or payroll. Discuss the source records, approvals and reports that must connect. Use the demonstration to identify the configuration, migration and training work that belongs in your phase-one scope.
